Adrian Shah-Cundy, head of HSEQS at VolkerWessels UK said: "This is a tremendous achievement and reflects highly upon the commitment of the project teams in the area of health and safety.  This is the first time we have entered all four organisations and what a great result.  Receiving these awards shows our continued commitment to the health and safety of our employees and all those we work with. Well done to all those involved."

To be awarded an International Safety Award with Merit, companies must provide evidence of initiatives that are making a real difference to health, safety and well-being of their workforces.
