On Saturday 5th July, over 600 supporters from local schools, businesses, organisations, and the wider community came together for Luton Foodbank's annual Colour Run.

The event burst to life in a dazzling display of colour and community spirit, as participants were joyfully doused in vibrant powders while making their way along the course.
VolkerHighways’ Luton highway maintenance contract proudly served as the headline sponsor for the Colour Run, building on our strong partnership with Luton Foodbank. This collaboration has already delivered vital food donations and volunteer hours, further strengthening our shared commitment to supporting the local community.
The Colour Run raised an impressive £13,500 to support families during the summer holidays. This vital funding will help provide meals for children who typically rely on free school meals, ensuring they don’t go hungry when schools are closed.
"We were absolutely delighted to be the headline sponsor for this year's Colour Run. Seeing so many people come together for such a fantastic cause truly embodies the spirit of Luton which we have been proud to serve for over 20 years. It is a pleasure to support an initiative that directly benefits families in need."
